My safety rant..... I have been surprised, over my 11 years of swim teaching at how many kids and adults have no idea how to swim or to rescue themselves, let alone a stranger in need of help. We as Kiwis are surrounded by water and it would be fair to say that if our neighbor doesn't have a pool the next one over from them would. There are rivers down the road and a lake in the local play ground, not to mention the ocean that surrounds our little island. Let's all do our part and learn the art of swimming. For whatever career choice in the pool or ocean I am here to help. There is no challenge too big for me, I have worked with all, so come on down. Let me make you either a champion or a safer swimmer in the water.
